國立東華大學藝文中心設置辦法

第一條
國立東華大學為提升藝術學風、增進藝術欣賞知能及興趣,依據本校組織規程第八條,設置『東華大學藝文中心』(以下簡稱本中心)。
第二條
本中心之任務如下:
一、 提供全校性及服務社區的藝文活動。
二、 作為全校性及服務社區的運籌中心及東華人文及藝術氣息的培育中心。
三、 藉由展覽、表演、推廣等方式,達到藝術與校園及社區結合人文氣息。
四、 發展具地方特色的原住民藝術。
第三條
本中心置主任一人,綜理中心業務。中心主任由校長聘請助理教授以上教師兼任,任期兩年,得連任。中心主任掌理中心事務。
第四條
本中心設立審議委員會,負責本中心之發展方向及相關重要決策;委員會由主任擔任召集人,為本中心之業務推展,得聘請校內外相關專業人士4-5名擔任審議委員,負責活動之審查,由中心主任簽請校長遴聘之。審議委員均為無給職。
第五條
本中心經費來源包括校內相關單位經費、校外輔助之研究計畫經費、技術服務經費、諮詢及工作費、培訓費、學術活動費、民間企業贊助等。
第六條
本中心由主任定期召開會議,討論並訂定工作計畫及檢討業務事項。
第七條
本中心依任務需要,其職掌如下:
一、各項藝術展覽及相關學術活動
二、各項藝術表演及相關學術活動
三、校內外各項藝文推廣
四、藝文中心財務預算編列及管理
五、相關場地及設施管理
第八條
本要點經校務發展委員會討論通過後,送請校務會議審議,修正時亦同。
Regulations for the Establishment of the Arts Center at National Dong Hwa University
Approved by the University Council on December 18, 2004 (Academic Year 93)
Article 1
National Dong Hwa University establishes the "Arts Center of National Dong Hwa University" (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") to enhance the artistic atmosphere, promote art appreciation knowledge, and foster interest in arts, in accordance with Article 8 of the University's organizational regulations.
Article 2
The mission of the Center is as follows:
1. To offer arts and cultural activities for the entire university and the surrounding community.
2. To serve as a center for the organization of arts and culture for the university and the community, fostering the development of humanistic and artistic qualities at Dong Hwa University.
3. To integrate art with campus and community humanistic values through exhibitions, performances, promotions, and other means.
4. To develop indigenous arts with local characteristics.
Article 3
The Center is headed by a Director who oversees the operations of the Center. The Director shall be a faculty member at the level of Assistant Professor or higher, appointed by the President, with a term of two years, which may be renewed. The Director is responsible for managing the affairs of the Center.
Article 4
The Center shall establish a Review Committee to be responsible for the development direction and important decisions of the Center. The Committee shall be chaired by the Director. For the promotion of the Center's activities, the Committee may invite 4-5 experts from both inside and outside the university to serve as Review Committee members. These members shall be appointed by the President at the request of the Director. The Review Committee members shall serve without remuneration.
Article 5
The funding sources for the Center include internal funding from relevant university departments, external research project funding, technical service fees, consulting and operational fees, training expenses, academic event expenses, sponsorship from private enterprises, and other funding sources.
Article 6
The Center shall hold regular meetings, chaired by the Director, to discuss and establish work plans and review business matters.
Article 7
The duties of the Center, based on its mission, are as follows:
1. Organize various art exhibitions and related academic activities.
2. Organize various art performances and related academic activities.
3. Promote arts and culture both on campus and within the community.
4. Prepare and manage the financial budget of the Arts Center.
5. Manage relevant venues and facilities.
Article 8
These regulations shall be discussed and approved by the University Development Committee, and then submitted to the University Council for review. Any amendments to these regulations shall follow the same procedure.
