誰說人聲只能唱歌？來自紐約的世界級 Beatbox 震撼來襲！
如果鼓聲、貝斯、旋律都從兩張嘴裡跑出來，你會先找樂器，還是先跟著節奏點頭？10月29日晚間七點，美國人聲雙人組SPIDERHORSE將在藝術學院音樂廳，讓這道選擇題變得有點難。由Gene Shinozaki與Chris Celiz組成的他們，以Beatbox、歌聲和默契，把舞台撐成一整支樂團；節拍一落下，低音、旋律與層層堆疊的聲響接力登場，耳朵還在辨認聲音，身體已經跟著搖擺。
來自紐約的兩人曾拿下世界Beatbox錦標賽雙人組冠軍，也在奧地利Vokal.Total國際阿卡貝拉大賽奪冠，足跡遍及美國、日本等地。這次演出預計有雙人作品、各自的獨奏，以及Beatbox橋段。從俐落的節拍到能跟著哼的旋律，每換一段，都可能讓你重新猜一次聲音是怎麼做出來的。平常沒聽過阿卡貝拉也沒關係，就把它當成一場充滿現場感的音樂會。
這場演出也是臺灣合唱音樂中心（TCMC）「2026臺灣國際重唱藝術節」的一站。TCMC希望讓年輕世代靠近人聲藝術，讓國際舞台上的新鮮聲響進入校園，也讓不同文化在音樂裡相遇。10月29日先把一個晚上留給耳朵，走進音樂廳，看看兩個人能把想像力帶到哪裡。

Who Says Voices Are Only for Singing? World-Class Beatboxing from New York Is Coming to Campus!
If the drums, bass, and melody all came from just two voices, would you look for the instruments first, or start moving to the beat? At 7 p.m. on October 29, the American vocal duo SPIDERHORSE will perform at the College of the Arts Concert Hall. Made up of Gene Shinozaki and Chris Celiz, the duo combines beatboxing, singing, and remarkable teamwork to make the stage sound like a full band. As the beat begins, bass lines and melodies build on each other. While your ears are still trying to figure out where the sounds come from, your body may already be moving along.
The New York duo has won the Beatbox Battle World Championships and the Vokal.Total International A Cappella Competition in Austria. They have also performed in the United States, Japan, and beyond. Their upcoming show is expected to include pieces performed together, individual solos, and beatbox segments. Each new section may leave you wondering how they made those sounds. Even if you have never listened to a cappella before, you can simply come and enjoy the energy of a live concert.
This performance is part of the Taiwan Choral Music Center’s (TCMC) 2026 Taiwan International Vocal Festival. TCMC hopes to bring vocal music closer to young people, share fresh sounds from international stages on campus, and connect cultures through music. Set aside the evening of October 29, step into the concert hall, and see how far two people can take your imagination.
