One piano, one trumpet—endless possibilities. This October 21, Francesca Han and Stacey Wei bring a jazz dialogue across borders to the College of the Arts Concert Hall at National Dong Hwa University.
South Korean pianist Francesca Han blends warmth and subtlety with bold improvisation. Active across Europe and the United States, she has collaborated with celebrated trumpeters Alex Sipiagin and Ralph Alessi. Her solo album Ascetic earned two Korean Music Awards nominations.
Joining her is Stacey Wei, Director of NDHU’s Arts Center and Chair of its Department of Music, whose album 43 was nominated for Best Instrumental Album at the 33rd Golden Melody Awards.
Once fellow graduate students in New York, the two reunite with new stories to tell. Join them for an evening of musical conversation, spontaneity, and discovery.
