你有在爵士樂裡聽過鐵琴的聲音嗎？
鐵琴（Vibraphone）有著清澈又夢幻的音色，從 1930 年代起就成為爵士舞台上的亮點。它不像薩克斯風或鋼琴那麼常見，但每一次響起都能帶來獨特的驚喜。
這次的爵士音樂會，由來自台灣的Jack Huang 黃亦翔以閃亮的鐵琴領銜登場，攜手日本京都的貝斯手Shuji Watanabe 渡邊修二與出生於美國爵士重鎮堪薩斯城的鼓手Quinton Cain，共同帶來一場文化融合的爵士音樂會！
Jack Huang 黃亦翔為旅居紐約的鐵琴手與作曲家，他的音樂融合了台灣文化的靜謐氣質與紐約爵士的即興能量，在曼哈頓音樂學院取得爵士鐵琴碩士學位後，發展出兼具旋律線條與節奏張力的個人聲音。
出生於美國爵士重鎮堪薩斯城Quinton Cain，自幼浸潤於美國音樂傳統，畢業於曼哈頓音樂學院後迅速成為紐約炙手可熱的鼓手，足跡遍及 Birdland、Dizzy’s Jazz Club 以及歐洲各大爵士場館。
日本京都的貝斯手Shuji Watanabe 渡邊修二，與 Wycliffe Gordon、Dayna Stephens 等重量級音樂家合作，他的音樂兼具深度與張力，展現跨文化的融合魅力。

Have you ever heard the sound of a vibraphone in any jazz music?
Vibraphone has a clear, dreamy tone, and it has become a highlight on the jazz stage since the 1930s. It’s not as common as the saxophone or the piano, but it always brings a unique sense of surprise whenever it’s heard.
This jazz concert features Taiwanese vibraphonist Jack Huang (Huang Yi-Hsiang) taking center stage with his shimmering vibraphone. He is joined by bassist Shuji Watanabe from Kyoto, Japan, and drummer Quinton Cain, who was born in the jazz stronghold of Kansas City, USA. Together, they will present a jazz performance that blends cultures and musical traditions.
Jack Huang (Huang Yi-Hsiang) is a New York based vibraphonist and a composer. His music blends the serene sensibility of Taiwanese culture with the improvisational energy of New York jazz. After earning his Master degree in Jazz Vibraphone from the Manhattan School of Music, he has developed a distinctive music voice that combines lyrical melodic lines with rhythmic intensity.
Quinton Cain, who was born in the jazz stronghold Kansas City of America, immersed in the American music tradition since he was a child. After graduating from the Manhattan School of Music, he quickly became one of the most in-demand drummers in New York. His performing footage has reached to Birdland, Dizzy’s Jazz Club, and major stages across Europe.
Shuji Watanabe, a Kyoto based bassist, has collaborated with distinguished musicians such as Wycliffe Gordon and Dayna Stephens. His playing is marked by both depth and dynamic energy, presenting the expressive possibilities of cross-cultural music to the audience.
